Sarah’s been in charge of setting up the West Midlands branch of The Bike Project, which launched in June 2019. With a background in consultancy and project management and having always been a keen cyclist, she took a sabbatical from consultancy in 2018 to cycle from Amsterdam to Romania, carrying all her camping gear. When she came back, she decided she wanted to spread the love of cycling and work for a meaningful and community focussed cause: The Bike Project seemed like the perfect choice!

There’s no two days the same in the Operations Team of The Bike Project and so whether she’s running the weekly Pedal Power lessons, setting up partnerships with drop-off points, writing progress reports for funders or helping the team to unload the van from the latest delivery, she’s always happy knowing that so many refugees are benefiting from the joys of cycling!
