Best of all, your ticket proceeds will support The Bike Project’s work to give refugees refurbished bikes across the UK, giving them freedom and independence. Every ticket bought could cover the cost of a cycle safety kit, keeping a refugee safe on the roads.

What is Jokes and Spokes?

Jokes and Spokes is The Bike Project’s live comedy fundraiser event. Join us for evenings of side-splitting stand-up acts by some of the country’s best talent, with ticket proceeds going towards supporting our charity’s work.

Over the years, we’ve hosted top comedians including: James Acaster, Sara Pascoe, Phil Wang, Frankie Boyle, Olga Koch, Ed Byrne, Nish Kumar, Jen Brister, Evelyn Mok, Simon Brodkin, Athena Kugblenu, Lloyd Griffith, Sophie Duker, Deborah Frances-White, Simon Brodkin, Andy Zaltzman, Ola Labib, Richard Herring, Kema Bob, Suzi Ruffell, Mark Watson, Stuart Laws, Toussaint Douglass, Kate Smurthwaite, Tiff Stevenson, Yuriko Kotani, Josh Pugh, Morgan Rees, Dylan Moran, Sapphire McIntosh, Rob Newman, Amy Matthews, Adam Flood, Stewart Lee, Lou Sanders, Kerry Godliman, Rosie Holt and more.

On the night

Here’s everything you need to know about the event.

  • Arrival: Doors open at 18:30.
  • Tickets: Have your QR code ticket ready to show a member of staff on arrival.
  • Seating: Seating is first come, first served and not allocated. Once you’re in, choose any available seat.
  • Intermission: There’ll be a 30-minute intermission where you can top up refreshments, stretch your legs, and learn more about The Bike Project.
  • Food & drink: Food and drink aren’t allowed inside the main chapel. You’re welcome to enjoy refreshments in designated bar area.

All proceeds support The Bike Project’s work, providing refurbished bikes to refugees and people seeking asylum so they can get around independently, connect with their community, and feel more at home.
