🤔 What kind of bike can I donate?

To donate a bike to a refugee or sell it in our online shop, it has to meet safety standards. Our professional mechanics are here to refurbish your recycled bike to a high standard, but it’s rare they can turn a rusty wreck into a reliable ride. The bike (or bikes!) you donate should be rust-free, have working brakes and gears, with no cracks or dents in the frame.

❗Please only register a bike if it can be ridden without extensive repairs and the replacement of major parts. If we are forced to scrap a bike, this is at a cost to the charity.

We’re particularly interested in receiving good condition bikes from top-quality brands like Trek, Specialized and Giant, more boutique names including Genesis, Condor and Bianchi, and premium kids’ brands such as Frog, Islabike, and Hoy. These bikes are sold to raise funds to help even more refugees.

✅ We accept: road bikes, hybrid bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes and lightweight kids’ bikes.

❌ We can’t accept: Electric bikes, scooters, tricycles, tandems, mobility bikes, recumbents or cargo bikes.

Follow the instructions below to donate your bike today! We hugely appreciate every donation received.

      3.  Arrange a time with your Drop-off Point

See the ‘more info’ section for your chosen Drop-off Point on the map above to find their donation instructions. Once a time is confirmed, bring in your bike along with its B-number (sent to you via SMS and email). Most Drop-off Points are managed by volunteers, so please be patient and they will get back to you as soon as they can!
