Bike services and repairs at our Deptford workshop

  1. Book in your service or repair
  2. Drop off to our workshop (drop-offs must be the day before)
  3. Get notified when your bike is ready

Even better, we're covered by the Fix Your Bike Voucher Scheme, as part of the active travel plan. You can get a £50 voucher towards your bike repair, courtesy of the Government. You can apply at the link above for your voucher.

So if your bike needs a little fixing, our mechanics are covered by this scheme. And they're pretty amazing!

See what Josh said about her service:

  • When and how should I drop off my bike?

For services in our Deptford Workshop:

    • Drop off your bike at our workshop at 11am or the day before your booking.

    The Bike Project Workshop
    Railway Arches 210 Edward Place
    Deptford, London SE8 5HD

Call the workshop on 07751 292 401 when you arrive and one of the team will come out to meet you and coordinate a contact-free handover of the bike.

We recommend a fantastic courier company called Pedal Me who will be able to transport your bike from your home to our workshop. Bookings can be made through their website.

For servicing in our Colliers Wood Shop:

Please drop off your bike at our workshop before 11am on the day of your booking, or the previous open day (Colliers Wood is only open on Fridays and Saturdays).

The Bike Project Colliers Wood Workshop
    42 Station Road
    Colliers Wood, London SW19 2LP

  • When will my bike be ready for collection?

We aim to complete your service within 2 business days, unless specialist parts need to be ordered.

In Deptford, servicing will be completed Monday - Thursday.

For Colliers Wood, as the shop is only open Friday and Saturday, please note that if you drop your bike off on a Saturday, it may not be ready until the next Friday or Saturday.

Your mechanic will call you after they have assessed the bike, to chat through what work is needed and to discuss any extra costs for new parts.

Once that's done, your mechanic will let you know when you can expect your bike will be ready for pick up.

  • What about new parts? Can I use my own parts?

Unfortunately we can't work with your spares at the moment. This is so we can guarantee the safety of your bike and the repairs.

But don't worry - any extra costs for new parts will be discussed with you before any work begins.

  • What's the deal with the courtesy bike?

Only available for The Better and The Best service bookings from our Deptford site. Subject to size and availability, we'll offer you one of our fabulous courtesy bikes for the duration of your service. The courtesy bike is a single speed, bull horn bike.

Please note that you're responsible for any damage to the bike while it is with you. We'll provide you with a lock, so please do your best to keep it safe!

So what are you waiting for?
