With everything our bikes go through, it's important to give your trusty friend some regular TLC and make sure your bike stays in tip-top condition.

A well-serviced bike, with carefully tuned brakes and calibrated gears isn't only safer - it's faster too. So why not give your gallant steed the refresh it needs with one of our full services?

We've fixed over 10,000 bikes, so yours will be in great hands with one of our ace mechanics.

A bike service with one of our ace mechanics at our amazing workshop in South East London. We will asses your bike and take it through a full service to get it back into tip-top condition, right here in Deptford.

Fast but thorough. Our full bike service covers everything from tuning your brakes and gears to degreasing and lubricating your chain. Even better: we aim to finish your service within 48 hours!

A courtesy bike will be provided so you can get around while we sort your bike out. It won't be a superbike, but it will be your size and adjusted to fit before you leave our workshop.

See what Molly said about her service:

Mission accomplished! After a Dr Bike service, I was able to get my medication for the first time in a month! Thank you, Bike Project!
Molly, super awesome customer

The full service is only £60, and all you have to do after booking is drop your bike into our London Workshop on the morning of the service.

We'll take care of the rest - and send you off with your courtesy bike!

  • What's included in the service?

One of our fully qualified mechanics will give your bike some serious TLC. The service includes:

    • Brakes and gears adjusted
    • Wheels trued and tensioned in truing stand
    • Bearing adjusted
    • Tyres inflated
    • Chain lubricated
    • Components checked for wear
    • Frame and fork wiped down and checked for damage
    • Drive chain removed, de-greased, cleaned, checked for wear and re-lubricated.

And remember: you get a courtesy bike to get around town while we fix up your bike.

  • When and how should I drop off my bike?

Please drop off your bike to our London Workshop between 08:30am and 10:30am on the day of your service.

    The Bike Project Workshop
    Railway Arches 223 – 224 Edward Street
    London SE8 5HD

Call the workshop on 020 7846 9380 when you arrive and one of the team will come out to meet you and coordinate a contact-free handover of the bike.

We recommend a fantastic courier company called Pedal Me who will be able to transport your bike from your home to our workshop. Bookings can be made through their website.

  • When will my bike be ready for collection?

We aim to complete your service within 48 hours, unless specialist parts need to be ordered.

Your mechanic will call you after they have assessed the bike, to chat through what work is needed and to discuss any extra costs for new parts.

Once that's done, your mechanic will let you know when you can expect your bike will be ready for pick up.

  • What about new parts? Can I use my own parts?

If we need to replace parts on your bike, the new part will be of the same value and quality as the original.

We order in all our own parts so unfortunately we can't work with your spares at the moment.

But don't worry - any extra costs for new parts will be discussed with you before any work begins.

  • What's the deal with the courtesy bike?

Subject to size and availability, we'll offer you one of our fabulous courtesy bikes for the duration of your service.

Please note that you're responsible for any damage to the bike while it is with you. We'll provide you with a lock, so please do your best to keep it safe!

So what are you waiting for?
