Here at The Bike Project, we work with refugees and asylum seekers to enable autonomy, build community, improve physical and mental health, and support refugee rights. We do this by giving refurbished second-hand bikes to refugees and asylum seekers and running several community programmes.
With millions fleeing the invasion of Ukraine and the Nationality and Borders Bill threatening to challenge refugees’ rights in the UK, now more than ever The Bike Project stands in solidarity with refugees and asylum seekers, wherever they are from.
